Triple Eccentricity Design Features
The stem is offset on both the X (1)and Y (2) axis of the valve's center line.
This produces a cam一like motion. The third offset (3) consists of an
inclined conical profile machined into the valve sealing surface.
This allows rotary engagement and disengagement of the seat and
seal ring without interference. All rubbing between seat and seal ring
is thereby eliminated. Once the seat and seal ring are fully engaged
torque is applied in order to create a bi一directional, zero leakage,
metal-to一metal seal. For this reason, triple offset valves are often
defined as "torque" seated rather than”position” seated as in the
case of resilient or high performance products.
Multi-layer disc sealing ring
Multi-layer disc sealing ring adopts ss304 and graphite laminated,
sealing by the inside graphite, applied for low and middle pressure,
as recycle water, swage treatment, city building, etc.

The first eccentricity:
The deviation between stem rotation center and the seat centerline ensures a tight seal between the seat and disc.
The second eccentricity:
The deviation between sealing cone center and the valve centerline, when the valve opens, can make the butterfly plate leaves sealing surface quickly.

Triple eccentricity refers to an angle eccentricity added on the basis of the double eccentric structure, as the butterfly valve sealing surface shows an oblique cone. This structure is characterized by the outer side of the disc to be processed into an oblique cone, and also the inner side of the sealing seat is processed into an oblique cone. At this time, the section of the valve sealing surface the becomes oval, thus the shape of the disc sealing surface is under the vertical asymmetry. Because the sealing surface is the oblique cone, the large part of the disc separated by the stem shaft presses the seat upwards along the large inclined surface, and the large part of the disc presses the seat downwards along the small inclined surface. The seal between the disc sealing ring and the seat does not rely on the elastic deformation of the seat, but completely depends on the compact of the touching surface. So there is no friction in the process of the triple eccentric butterfly valve basically opening and closing, and the valve closes tightly with the closing pressure increasing. It is obvious from the principle and structure of the triple eccentric butterfly valve, the triple eccentric butterfly valve has the following advantages:
1) The sealing performance and reliability of the system are improved.
2) The friction is low, and the valve opening and closing flexibly.
3) The valve service life is longer and it could switch repeatedly.
4) The resistance of pressure and high temperature is improved, and the range of applications is wide.
